Pieve Santa Restituta is a historic estate in Montalcino, founded in the 7th century near the church of Saint Restituta, a saint from Carthage. Located in the southwestern area of Brunello di Montalcino, at an altitude of 350 meters, the estate was purchased by the Gaja family in 1994. Wine production on this land dates back to the 12th century, and a specific vineyard, Sugarille, has been mentioned since 1547.
